A Residency Journey with Josef & Anni Albers Foundation

This January, Vera Boele-Keimer, the Subject Area Lead, embarks on a residency at the esteemed Josef & Anni Albers Foundation in Bethany, Connecticut, USA. This opportunity marks the latest chapter in Vera's international artistic ventures, having previously undertaken residencies in Thread Senegal, Trondheim,Norway, and Finland, among other locations.  

The Legacy of the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation:  

Situated in the charming town of Bethany, Connecticut, the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation boasts a storied history and a steadfast commitment to nurturing artistic excellence. Offering three unique residency programs across the globe, including Connecticut, Ireland, and Senegal, the Foundation provides artists with an extraordinary chance to immerse themselves in diverse environments, fostering creativity and pushing the boundaries of their artistic practice.
